Kids Grape Nerds Slushie

I did a frozen cocktail post in the adult corner and thought it would be fitting to do a frozen one for the kiddos to cool off in this heat.  This recipe is super cheap and extremely easy! What you'll need: Your favorite brand of grape juice Grape Nerds (you can use all the flavors if you want) Create: Fill a freezer safe bowl with all the grape juice. Place in the freezer for 2-3 hours, it won't freeze it will become a slushie. Pour juice into cups and sprinkle with nerds.

DIY Linen Freshener & Ant Repellent Spray

I have made posts about DIY fresheners before but this is now my new favorite because it’s a 3 in 1 spray!  We live in a camper and I have been having problems with ants. So I’ve done research. The first thing I have seen in a lot of RV blog sites is to use Lavender dryer sheets, place in your cabinets etc. well that hasn’t been working. So I started searching for repellents using essential oils and I found one that works. They say citrus and clove are great for deterring ants. The picture above is what I found at Walmart, it was nice not having to buy so many different scents, they are already mixed together for you. I will say it smells amazing too. I sprayed everything in my camper down because it’s not just an ant repellent, it's an air freshener fabric freshener recipe so you can spray it wherever you like. Best part, it’s cheap and easy to make. What you’ll need: 8oz glass bottle 4oz water (distilled or purified, not tap) 2oz rubbing alcohol or vodka 60 drops of the essentia

Don't You Know I'm Loco?

Effexor, Seroquel, Latuda, Caplyta, Prozac, Cymbalta, Lexapro, Xanax and Valium; those are just some names of medications you may not know of or what they are for. If you do then you understand what a lot of people feel. Depression, overwhelming sadness, anxiety, hopelessness and more. I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and 15, as years have gone by I also suffer from anxiety attacks. I hit a deep low in February. During the time of the low our psychiatrist retired (which was fine I didn't really like her). We have found a new one! The new Dr. I am still up in arms about. I like that they don't believe in over medicating. I like that they are all about alternative healing and natural supplements on top of needed medication though! During this low I had no drive, no motivation, no feelings other than being depressed and feeling extremely overwhelmed! Hence why you haven't seen blog posts from me in forever. I've stated before that I love to blog, which I do but when y
