  You guys know I love natural items, especially for my body. I like doing the research and blogging about it. I am for sure making this. My eyebrows are thinning and not shaping well. I love, love this recipe and it's only 5 ingredients!!!! WHY I LOVE THIS DIY It gives a light, natural tint to eyebrow hairs thanks to cocoa and (for darker hair) activated charcoal. It keeps eyebrow hairs in place all day. It nourishes the hair follicles and promotes hair growth. Great for sparse brows!  It’s suitable for all skin types.  It’s a snap to whip together.  It can be applied with a regular clean eyebrow or mascara brush (called a spoolie).  A little product goes a long way.  It’s only 5 ingredients and it makes 1 small jar. These are great ideas for kids' rooms or to display your child's picture around the house. T here are several different ways you can do it. The 2 easiest ways are as follows: Make four pillars of 1x2 bricks that are as tall as your photo. Lay down a base of 2x4 or 2x2 bricks that are as wide as your frame needs to be. Build a roll along the outside of the picture to hold it in. Hot glue LEGO bricks around the frame. Place a photo in the frame. Attach a few LEGO guys to the frame. Tape the image and backing to the back of the Lego frame. Make a small loop with ribbon, and tape it to the backing. The second way is: Taking the back off the frame and removing the glass. Painting the frame with acrylic paint. Using a ruler and pencil to mark where the LEGO plates will go.  

The Funko Bitty's make these fun. The one pictured here is a Jack Skellington and Zero is jumping spider habitat, I also have an Oogie Boogie one. I don't suffer from cracked heels in the winter because I am constantly wearing socks but when summer rolls around my heels look horrible. I've tried lotions, I've tried putting on petroleum jelly and socks at night but nothing works. How about we give this a try together? What you'll need: 1c solid coconut oil 1/2c aloe vera gel 20 drops lavender essential oil ( I recommend the NOW brand) 20 drops peppermint essential oil (again I would use the NOW brand) Create: Add all ingredients to a stand mixer or bowl (in listed order). Whip ingredients together using the stand mixer or a hand mixer. Blend for a couple of minutes. You will know it is done when the cream is bright white and has a fluffy, light consistency. Kids love to do arts and crafts, especially the young ones, I thought this was so cute. I can't wait to make it with Celeste. This does call for a pumpkin face template that you can download but there is no reason why you can't just use construction paper and make your own faces. What you'll need: Paper plate Orange marker (or crayon or paint) Construction paper (black, brown, and green) Scissors Glue Create: Use the orange marker and color one side of the paper plate orange. You can use a crayon or paint as well, but I find using a marker the fastest and least messy. Cut out eyes and mouth for the pumpkin using black construction paper.  mix and match the eyes, nose, and mouth to make your perfect paper plate pumpkin. How many of you take care of your face? I never used to, no lotions, creams, cleansing oils etc BUT now do I! Wrinkles, crows feet and blotching of the skin. I have a whole regiment. I love making these types of things myself though because you know what's going on your face, who's willing to give this a try? What you'll need: 1 tbsp Castor Oil 1 tbsp Jojoba Oil 2 tbsp Apricot Kernel Oil 2 tbsp Hemp Seed Oil Essential oils if desired - we used 1 drop each of the following: Lavender, Frankincense, Patchouli and Ylang Ylang Amber Dropper Bottle 50ml ***Note, I would use the brand NOW essential oils which you can find on Amazon along with the amber dropper bottle; DON"T use Walmart brand essential oils on your body!*** Create: Place oils (and essential oils if desired) into your chosen dropper bottle and shake well. I am not sure how your child, or grandchild feel about spiders but my 2 1/2 year old is fearless. She loves all the critters in the house and she likes to give them names. She even has her own jumping spider and her own curly hair tarantula. Before you ask yes we are responsible she doesn't get to hold them she just gets to watch. What you'll need: Craft Beads Large Black Pom Poms Googly Eyes Pipe Cleaners Tacky Glue *Note: You may also want to use hot glue to keep the pipe cleaners in place. Adults only should glue these on. An extra strong non-toxic glue for gluing with pipe cleaners and pom poms. As long as you give it time to dry it should hold in place without too much handling.
