Cheshire Cat Cocktail

I have always loved the Cheshire cat. The original one and the Tim Burton one. Wasn't my favorite movie but I love the cat. I got excited when I found this cocktail. This drink is right up my alley because I like vodka! This makes 1 8oz cocktail. What you'll need: cherry vodka blue curacao strawberry vodka grenadine sprite lemon purple sanding sugar (optional for garnish) Create: In a large bartender shaker add both vodkas and grenadine along with only a few pieces of ice. Shake well to combine. Fill your glassware 3/4 of the way full with ice. Now add your Vodka mix and fill ONLY 1/2 way. Rinse your shaker with water. Now add the Blue Curacao and sprite Shake well to combine. Use a large serving spoon upside down hold it above the glass and slowly pour the Blue Curacao mix into the glass. You are pouring the mix directly onto the spoon and letting the liquid drain off the spoon into the cocktail glass If you do it slow it will

DIY Tangled Inspired Paper Lanterns

I am trying to pick some of the Disney movies a lot of kids love, for the week ahead. I love Tangled, I think the way they did it was great! I was always a huge Beauty & the Beast fan and while that will forever be my all time favorite the newer Disney movies are just awesome with the animation and the songs. I have a whole Disney playlist on my phone for Celeste and you guessed it Tangled is on there, that is one of her favorites as well. I found this DIY and knew I had to blog it that way when she is older we can make them together. Here's what you'll need: construction paper toilet paper rolls scissors glue crayons Create: First, put construction paper around the toilet paper roll. Measure the construction paper and cut it to fit to size. It doesn't have to be perfect. On some of the rolls you can decide to add extra decorations. Like the Rapunzel sun and swirls before you glue it on to the toilet paper roll. Remember this

What you'll need: 2oz coconut water 4oz fruit punch 4oz mango juice 2T simple syrup (optional) 3T teal sanding sugar (optional for rim of glass) ice Create: Pour simple syrup on one plate and on the other plate pour the teal sanding sugar. Dip your glass in the simple syrup first then into the sanding sugar. Set to the side and allow to dry as you prepare your fruit punch. In a cocktail shaker combine coconut water, fruit punch, and mango juice and shake vigorously for about 5 full seconds. Pour shaken punch over a glass full of ice.
