Andes Mints Chocolate Lip Scrub


 

I love lip scrubs especially in the winter. Oh and Andes Mints

are my absolute favorite candy in the world. So this recipe

is definitely for me! Are you going to give it a try?

Your lips never feel better after a good lip scrub.


What you'll need:

1/4 cup (4 Tablespoons) coconut oil

5 Andes Crème De Menthe mint candies– broken into pieces

1/3 cup granulated sugar

5-6 drops peppermint essential oil

3-4 drops Vitamin E oil

4 lip balm containers (amazon or ebay)


Create:

In a small microwave-safe bowl, add the coconut oil. Microwave for

15 seconds and stir. Stir in the Andes chocolate mint pieces.

Microwave for an additional 15 seconds. Stir until melted and smooth.


Add the sugar and stir until well mixed.


Add the peppermint essential oil and vitamin E oil and stir until well incorporated.


Transfer to your Andes chocolate mint lip scrub to the

airtight containers and store for up to 3 months.


How to use:

Wet your lips and apply the Andes chocolate mint lip scrub

generously to your lips. Gently scrub in a circular motion.

The sugar will help exfoliate and the coconut oil

will moisturize. Rinse with warm water.

Pat dry with a soft towel.

Apply your favorite lip balm.

DIY Water Candle

  Your options are endless, you can add colored rocks, little plastic cartoon characters like nemo and dory and so much more! DIY Candy Corn Sugar Scrub

  Okay, okay last day of fall sugar scrubs for now. This recipe makes about 1 1/2c What you need: 1 1/2c sugar 1/2c coconut oil 1tsp vanilla extract 4 drops vitamin e oil orange food gel yellow food gel small mason jars Create: Add the sugar, vanilla, vitamin e and coconut oil in a bowl and mix with a mixer. Divide the mixture evenly into 3 small bowls. Set aside one bowl (this will be for the white section of the candy corn). To the second bowl, add a third of the sugar and a small amount of orange food gel with a toothpick. Add more color if needed. Set aside. Add a small add a third of the sugar amount of yellow food gel to the third bowl and stir well, add more color if needed. Set aside. The other bowl should have your white sugar in it. Grab your mason jar and place the yellow mixture first, then the orange and then the white.
