Rhythm and Blues

You may be wondering why the title of this blog post

is rhythm and blues? Well it has nothing to do with jazz!

It’s all about trying to find a rhythm in life; right now it has

been difficult for me, how are you doing?

You guys know I have bipolar disorder in association with

ADHD and I think I have come to realize I have a

small touch of OCD. Now you throw in the

seasonal depression and BAM!

Honestly the blues started a while ago over numerous

reasons and now with the cold and the dark here it’s making

it even harder. I don’t want to complain though…. So enough

with the blues, let's talk about the rhythm.

I used to have a good rhythm about 4 years ago. I got up,

drank some coffee and headed to the gym. I haven’t been in

that rhythm for a long time now. I want to start a new rhythm,

maybe not jumping out of bed and going straight to the gym

but definitely need the gym.

Over the last couple weeks I started going

to a yoga class that

I love and I also did a water aerobics class which I

enjoyed too. I want to incorporate the classes with my

own gym time too. The hot tub and the sauna are a

nice treat when I am done.

Not only do I want to be hitting the gym but I want to

start reading again, blogging again (which may not be as

consistent as it once was), coloring… I have an awesome

adult coloring book that has just been sitting around. I also still

want to enjoy some of my shows. Don’t forget that I

babysit my beautiful granddaughter.

I have to be able to find a way to do all that I want to do on

top of what needs to be done. Now you understand the title of this post.

It is hard when you have ADHD to have awesome time

management skills, throw in everything else and

sometimes trying to plan a schedule for yourself

becomes overwhelming!

What do you do for your rhythm?
