I tried to look up buffalo chicken shit on a shingle with no recipes but I came across this one. Now you can do the nachos or you can create your own shit on a shingle version with a piece of toast and melted cheese on top of the toast with the buffalo chicken on top...hmmmm... Anyways, here ya go. Recipe makes 6-8 servings. In a medium bowl, mix the hot sauce with the shredded chicken until well coated. Set aside. Are You a Bookworm?

Even when I was at a young age, as a teenager all the way up till now I have always loved to read. I think my mother instilled that in me. I always saw her reading V.C Andrews & Danielle Steele. I have read both of those authors as well.  Back in Ohio I had my own personal library, I got all my books either from Half Priced Books or the thrift store. Now since moving to VA and currently living in a camper my books are gone BUT I have started my own digital library & to boot most of my books are FREE!!! Yes you read that right FREE!!! I have found several sites thanks to scrolling through Facebook that email you cheap & even FREE books you can download. My library is extensive again and I enjoy reading them when I can. I wanted to pass on my 2 favorite sites Book Bub The Fussy Librarian Each site sends you an email every day with Free to cheap books to read, sometimes you know the authors well and maybe some you’ve never heard of. I have found some amazing books h...

Who doesn't love a good mimosa? Now that we are coming into the fall months I thought this would be a perfect drink to share in "Adults Corner" This recipe makes more than 1 drink. DIY Footprint Bat Craft

This is a super cute idea to do with the younger kiddos. I love the idea of incorporating your child's feet to the bat. You can hang this up for decoration and even make a new one each year to show how big your child is getting. All you need is: paper plates black tissue paper googly eyes black craft paint glue Create: Depending on your child's age let them do most of the work.  First start off by taking 2 paper plates and dipping your child's foot in paint. Place a foot in the middle of a plate and dry, repeat for the other foot. Take your paper plate and tear up some tissue paper, let them place and glue around the plate. You will need to help them place around to make a mouth.  Next, glue your googly eyes on. Take another paper plate and cut out 2 triangles for the ears. Apply some black paint to the ears. Once all painted objects are dry attach the ears on the top and the footprints on each side to represent wings. Easy, cheap and super cute!!

Quote of the Day 9/19/22

I didn't get a chance to honor Queen Elizabeth on the blog after her passing, so I decided to look up some quotes from her and this by far is one of my favorites that we can all relate to and learn from. I know of no single formula for success. But over the years I have observed that some attributes of leadership are universal and are often about finding ways of encouraging people to combine their efforts, talents, their insights, their enthusiasm and their inspiration to work together. ~Queen Elizabeth II

Aladdin's Magic Carpet Snacks

I wanted to try and find a movie that wasn't just "princess themed" so the young lil' men could enjoy something as well. These are super cute and makes for a healthy snack for the kiddos. What you'll need: graham crackers cream cheese (leave out to soften) strawberries, blueberries and raspberries (or you can add different fruit if your child doesn't like those) fruit roll ups purple food coloring Create: Once the cream cheese is soft add in a few drops of purple food coloring and beat in a mixer until smooth. Cover as many graham crackers as you'd like with a thick layer of cream cheese, keeping it as smooth as possible. Slice several different fruits, blot off excess juice with a paper towel. Arrange the fruit in different patterns to represent Aladdin's magic carpet. Using scissors cut small strips of the fruit roll ups and arrange 4 strips on each corner of the graham cracker to act as the carpets tassels.
