Copycat Disney Apple Pie Caramel Apples

Technically we aren't officially in fall but you can still make these amazing Apple Pie Caramel Apples. It doesn't matter if it's a snack or a meal Disney never disappoints and these look amazing!!!

This recipe makes 5 apples

What you'll need:

5 granny smith apples

14oz package brach's milk maid caramel

11oz bag Ghirardelli white chocolate chips

3 1/2T cinnamon sugar

baking sheet

wax paper

cooking spray

5 popsicle sticks

patience

I listed patience as one of your ingredients because you have to allow the caramel to set and harden completely before dipping into the chocolate.

Create:

Prepare a baking sheet with wax paper sprayed lightly with non-stick cooking spray, set aside.

Melt the caramels as per the package instructions.

While the caramels are melting, wash the apples and pat dry completely.

Before dipping, allow the caramel to sit for 5 minutes. Pierce the apples with the Popsicle sticks and dip into the melted and slightly cooled caramel. Using a rubber spatula, scrape the excess caramel off the bottom of the apple and place on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining apples. Place the apples in your refrigerator for 30 minutes, or until the caramel is set.

Place the white chips in a medium heat-proof bowl and cook on half power for 1 minute. Stir and cook for 30 seconds on half power. Stir again and repeat until the chips are melted.

Remove the apples from the refrigerator and spread the white chocolate on each apple with a rubber spatula. Sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar and place the apples back on the baking sheet. Return the apples to the refrigerator to set, about 30 minutes.

Apple Ginger Fizz for Fall

The kids deserve a special drink for the fall besides apple cider. This is a great fall mocktail with a beautiful flavor combination. Not just for the kiddos. This makes 1 drink What  you'll need: 3 oz still apple cider 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice 6 mint leaves 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar Pinch powdered cinnamon 3 oz ginger ale Create: Place apple cider, lime juice, cinnamon, apple cider vinegar and a few ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. If you don't have a shaker, anything with a tight lid will work, such as a mason jar or drink bottle. Clap the mint together in your hands to release the scent, and add to the shaker. Shake for about 20-30 seconds until ingredients are combined. Pour into an ice filled glass and top with ginger ale. Stir gently, garnish with mint, dried citrus or a cinnamon stick, and serve.
