Pumpkin Pie Martini


It's that time of year again, pumpkin spice and

everything nice. Want a twist on your favorite pie

in a martini form? Well here you go.

This recipe makes 2 martinis


What you'll need:


FOR THE FROZEN WHIPPED CREAM:

1/4 c. whipped topping or whipped cream


FOR THE PUMPKIN PIE MARTINI:

2 1/2 oz. vanilla vodka

1 1/2 oz. aged rum 

1/4 c. pumpkin puree

3 tbsp. maple syrup 

1/4 c. half and half

1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice, plus

additional for garnish

Handful of ice cubes


Create:

Place 2 martini glasses in the freezer.


For the Frozen Whipped Topping: Line a small sheet

tray with parchment or waxed paper. Make 2 dollops of

whipped topping or whipped cream and place

in the freezer for 30 minutes. 


For the Pumpkin Pie Martini: In a cocktail shaker,

combine the vodka, rum, pumpkin puree, maple syrup,

half and half, pumpkin pie spice, salt and ice cubes.

Cover and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.

Strain into the 2 martini glasses. 

Top each glass with one piece of frozen whipped cream.

Sprinkle additional pumpkin pie spice and serve immediately.

Autumn Oak Leaf Cocktail

  It is the season of falling leaves, cooler weather, pumpkin spice everything and caramel apples, so why not make an autumn oak leaf cocktail. Recipe from Gordon Ramsay himself. DIY Peppermint Candle Holders

I can tell you right now this is going to be the centerpiece on my kitchen table this Christmas! Sooo cute!!!      Materials: choice of clear glass vases choice of candles epsom salt round peppermint candies   Instructions: Clean your glass vases and let dry. Pour a layer of epsom salt in the bottom of the vase about half way to the top. Place a layer of round peppermint candies stopping about an inch from the top. Put the candles centered in the vase, slightly embed the candle base in the peppermints.
