30lbs

Dear Diary,

October 12th 2015 I had gastric sleeve surgery. My heaviest weight was 245lbs, surgery weight was 225lbs and my lowest weight was 137lbs. I was loving life and doing great! My husband had the surgery as well, we made new friends, worked out all the time, went out with people and on real dates. We had more energy to do things with our youngest son!

2016 was even better! We were able to take a trip to Disney World for my sons 13th birthday, we were even able to take my mother in law who had never been before! We made wonderful memories!

2017.... it all came crashing down! My mother in law got sick literally over night, she died shortly after that. Now most people would eat there depression and anxiety away. I do not have an addiction to food BUT I did go downhill!

I stopped doing my 4-6 small meals a day, when I did eat it was something bad and I started drinking pop again. Since then I have gained 30lbs! I am struggling to stay steady in the gym, I am struggling to consistently eat healthy!

I am working on changes, slowly... I have started intermittent fasting, I do 16:8, I only treat myself to a pop once a week. I am slowly getting back into eating only healthy meals and my goal is to be back in the gym soon.

DIY Cheesecloth Ghosts

I absolutely love these! I love decorating for Halloween, I have to say it is my favorite holiday. I don't think you can have enough decorations up! So when I found this DIY project I just had to share!   DIY Cheesecloth Ghosts     You can find styrofoam mannequin heads at wig shots. They normally can stand on their necks but for this project you need to suspend them to let the cloth flow freely. Materials: Cheesecloth Styrofoam mannequin heads Sponge brush Watered-down glue or fabric stiffener Screw eyes Monofilament Removable adhesive hooks (like command brand or painters tape).     Steps: Apply a layer of cheesecloth to the head, then generously brush over head and face with glue. Use hands to smooth the cloth into the facial features. Don't brush down the neck, stop at chin level so the fabric is loose below that. Repeat until you have 4 layers each being 7 feet long of cheesecloth...

DIY Tangled Inspired Paper Lanterns

I am trying to pick some of the Disney movies a lot of kids love, for the week ahead. I love Tangled, I think the way they did it was great! I was always a huge Beauty & the Beast fan and while that will forever be my all time favorite the newer Disney movies are just awesome with the animation and the songs. I have a whole Disney playlist on my phone for Celeste and you guessed it Tangled is on there, that is one of her favorites as well. I found this DIY and knew I had to blog it that way when she is older we can make them together. Here's what you'll need: construction paper toilet paper rolls scissors glue crayons Create: First, put construction paper around the toilet paper roll. Measure the construction paper and cut it to fit to size. It doesn't have to be perfect. On some of the rolls you can decide to add extra decorations. Like the Rapunzel sun and swirls before you glue it on to the toilet paper roll. Remember this ...
