Spaghetti Squash From Your Garden

I love to make spaghetti squash, I use it a lot
in place of pasta. I will normally cook diced
chicken or shrimp for it. I always turn the dish
into an italian style dish using alfredo or pesto.
Cook your protein however you would like too, as for
the spaghetti squash below is how you wanna make that.

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Cut both sides of
the spaghetti squash off so you can stand it up, then
cut straight down the center of it. Take all the seeds out.

Take some olive oil and whatever seasonings you
would like and mix together in a bowl, using a bbq type brush,
brush the oil mixture onto the inside of the squash.

Spray a cookie sheet down with cooking spray.
Place your squash rind side up on the sheet.

Cook for 40-60 minutes, you know when it's done when
the rind is mushy and turning brown.

When I pull mine out of the oven I mix some more
olive oil and seasoning. I then take a fork to the inside
of the squash and pull the squash apart, it looks like
strings when you do this. I take the oil mixture
and pour onto the strings and mix it up with the fork.

Place your squash on your plate with your protein on top.
Good eating right there and very healthy for you too.
