Alright my dear friends, we have some in the group who are needing to maintain or gain some weight, so this week is going to be high calorie meals. I will have (high calories) posted in the title of the recipe. This recipe serves 1 so you will need to adjust depending on how many people will be eating it. There is 697 calories, 44g carbs & 72g of protein. Ingredients: 1/2lb ground chicken 1 garlic love, chopped 1tsp turmeric pinch of cumin pinch of cinnamon handful dill, chopped 2 sprigs green onion, chopped For the quinoa & curried cauliflower: 1/4c quinoa 4 cauliflower florets 1/8c sweet potato chopped 1T evoo 1T medium curry powder 1tsp pistachios, chopped 1tsp sultanas 1/2 lime, juiced How to make: For the meatballs, mix together all the ingredients in a bowl with some seasoning. My problem with my knees and why I have alot of pain and trouble exercising is I don't have joint fluid in my knees compounded with degenerative joint disorder and arthritis on my femur bones. I get injections of artificial fluid I jected every month but still have so much trouble doing anything. Just doing go use work some days is very painful. I need a super low impact excercise. The only thing my doctor says is to lose weight and it will be easier. I wasn't overweight before and started gaining weight because of ny inability to exercise properly and now I'm obese with no help from my doctor. I wake up in a lot of pain and usually do not sleep because I'm in so much pain from my daily activities I have to do. Do you have any exercises that do not use the knees that will help build muscle?
