Help Reduce Eye Bags & Dark Circles

If you are like me your eyes are starting to show their

age or even your lack of sleep. Maybe you're wondering

why they are so bad? Over time our skin naturally loses

collagen and it grows thinner. There are ways to help.

Which is why it's best to keep up with your good habits

to help reduce the dark circles and bags. Eating healthy

and exercising is an important thing to do but here are some

other things to help possibly reduce the bags and circles.

Use a cold compress in the morning, cucumbers are a good

way to be used as a cold compress because they have skin

lightening and mild astringent properties.

Tomatoes? Yes you just read that right. Tomatoes are

high in lycopene which is a substance that's excellent for your cardiovascular health, vision and your skin. Lycopene can

help create softer, more supple skin as well as decrease

the appearance of dark eye circles. To gain these

benefits mix equal parts of tomato juice with lemon juice.

Dip a cotton ball or makeup remover pad and apply it under

your eyes. Leave the solution for 10 minutes and then rinse

with warm water. Do this twice a day, I suggest once in the

morning and once before bed.

Cold tea bags can work as well, you just need to get them

wet, put them in the fridge for about a half an hour and then

place them on your eyes for about 10 minutes. This is another

great "cold compress".

Vitamin E oil and Coconut oil work wonders too, place a little

bit under your eyes before you go to bed and rinse off in the morning followed up by a cold compress.

Eat more dark chocolate, salmon and drink more water.

Try to get 8 hours of sleep, exercise and mediation.

These are all healthy routines that aren't just good for

your eyes but your face and your whole body!

Apple Ginger Fizz for Fall

The kids deserve a special drink for the fall besides apple cider. This is a great fall mocktail with a beautiful flavor combination. Not just for the kiddos. This makes 1 drink What  you'll need: 3 oz still apple cider 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice 6 mint leaves 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar Pinch powdered cinnamon 3 oz ginger ale Create: Place apple cider, lime juice, cinnamon, apple cider vinegar and a few ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. If you don't have a shaker, anything with a tight lid will work, such as a mason jar or drink bottle. Clap the mint together in your hands to release the scent, and add to the shaker. Shake for about 20-30 seconds until ingredients are combined. Pour into an ice filled glass and top with ginger ale. Stir gently, garnish with mint, dried citrus or a cinnamon stick, and serve.
