Best Morning Skin Care Routine

Yesterday I posted how to help with the dark circles

and bags under your eyes. Today I want to talk about a

morning skin care routine.

We often talk about working out to help stay healthy

but we don't always think about our skin. I know I really

didn't until I started getting older. I mean I've always

used lotion on my skin, I have to admit I love lotion but

that's not all you need.

Today is mostly about your face but I want you to also think

about adding lotion to your arms and legs which is normally the driest part of your body.

Hopefully by doing a morning skin care routine not only

will your skin start to look better but you may feel more

awake and rejuvenated!!

Start with using a cleansing oil, rub it into your face in a

circular motion and down your neck. Rinse with warm water

but don't dry your face.

Follow the oil up with a water based cleanser, I love the Garnier!!

I normally squirt some onto a makeup pad and gently

apply to my face in a circular motion.

Once done pat your face dry.

Now add a toner; using a toner is important because

it removes any bits of oil and dirt left behind by

a cleanser. It shrinks your pores and balances the ph level

of your skin. Again use a makeup pad and a circular motion.

Let your face air dry.

Apply whatever eye serum you want to use, whether it

be store bought or a DIY one you have made.

Now add your moisturizer, you don't want just any lotion,

you want one perfect for the face. Aveeno, Gold Bond &

Olay are all great choices.

Lastly apply a sunscreen with a SPF of at least 30.

Sunscreen helps protect your skin of course from the sun

which can lead to wrinkles, fine lines and spots.

Now if you wear makeup you are ready to put your primer

on and go from there.

Whether you use makeup or not, follow the other steps

every morning for a healthier, glowing face!

DIY Tangled Inspired Paper Lanterns

I am trying to pick some of the Disney movies a lot of kids love, for the week ahead. I love Tangled, I think the way they did it was great! I was always a huge Beauty & the Beast fan and while that will forever be my all time favorite the newer Disney movies are just awesome with the animation and the songs. I have a whole Disney playlist on my phone for Celeste and you guessed it Tangled is on there, that is one of her favorites as well. I found this DIY and knew I had to blog it that way when she is older we can make them together. Here's what you'll need: construction paper toilet paper rolls scissors glue crayons Create: First, put construction paper around the toilet paper roll. Measure the construction paper and cut it to fit to size. It doesn't have to be perfect. On some of the rolls you can decide to add extra decorations. Like the Rapunzel sun and swirls before you glue it on to the toilet paper roll. Remember this ...
