Oktoberfest continues....is your mouth watering yet?
I know mine is! This recipe will serve 10 so
you will have leftovers!
What you'll need:
3lb boneless chuck pot roast
2T canola oil
1 1/4c water
3/4c beer
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1/2c chopped onion
2T sugar
1T vinegar
2tsp salt
1tsp cinnamon
1 bay leaf
1/2tsp pepper
1/2tsp ground ginger
Create:
In a dutch oven brown roast in hot oil. Combine beer,
tomato sauce, onion, sugar, vinegar, salt, cinnamon,
bay leaf, pepper and ginger. Pour over meat and bring
to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 2 1/2 - 3 hours.
You're ready to serve as soon as you take the bay leaf out.
