Flexitarian Diet

What is a Flexiatarian Diet?

It emphasizes on plant based foods "most" of the

time but allows you the occasional meaty indulgence.

I guess you could say my husband and I are going to

kinda be doing this. I am mainly doing the mediteranian diet.

My hubby is working on different meals. However we have

both decided to do a vegetarian "flexitarian" meal

twice a week especially a day that we fast.

Doing a plant based diet lowers your risk of diabetes,

heart disease and cancer. If you do the Flexiatarian diet

you are allowed up to 28oz of lean meat or poultry per week

you just add more veggies. This is actually healthier

than doing complete vegetarian or vegan if you are

just doing it to lose weight.

I am still learning more about it and doing more research.

I am sure I will post more as I learn more or

start doing my own meals.
