This sounds different and I am going to give
these a try too... I'm loving German week!
This recipe will make 12 sandwiches, so you have leftovers again!
What you'll need:
1 32oz pack fully cooked italian frozen meatballs
1/2c chopped onion
1/4c brown sugar
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 12oz can of beer
12 hoagie buns, split
3c shredded swiss cheese
How to make:
In a 3qt slow cooker combine meatballs, onion,
brown sugar, soup mix and beer. Cook, covered
on low for 3-4 hours.
Place 5-6 meatballs on each bun bottom.
Sprinkle each sandwich with 1/4c cheese. Place on baking
sheets, broil 4-6" from the heat until cheese is melted
and put your top bun on.
