My Workout Plan/Goals

I have talked a bit over the last few weeks about my

weight upsetting me, how I want to workout etc. I thought

I would go more in depth and maybe I can motivate someone.

Firstly I am totally changing my diet around again, since

Covid I have been on a roller coaster ride, eating good,

not eating good, working out, not working out. I mentioned the

total amount of weight I have gained in 3 years and I am

totally disgusted with myself.

I am doing away with carbs BUT not good carbs, your

body needs carbs to help fuel it. So what are some

good carbs you may ask?

Veggies; all of them, eat a variety every day.

Whole fruits; apples, bananas, strawberries etc.

Legumes (which I don't like myself); lentils, kidney beans, peas etc.

Nuts; almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, peanuts etc.

Seeds; chia seeds, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds.

Whole grains; you want truly whole as in pure oats,

quinoa and brown rice.

Lastly; sweet potatoes

Now I am moving onto the meditranian diet;

The mediterranean diet consists of healthy carbs, evoo

as your primary fat source, dairy products, eggs, fish and poultry.

I will still have red meat but on occasion not as often as I do now.

Intermediate Fasting; I was doing a 16:8 but I don’t think

that is long enough for my body as I kinda already do

that but it would be dirty fast. So I am going to amp

up my time to a 19-20 hour fast which means I will

have a 4-5 hour eating window. My first meal will always

be a protein shake, I need the protein A. since I had

the weight loss surgery and B. since I am going to be

exercising more than I have been used to.

How am I going to workout? That is a good one, my goal

is to do a 30 minute video workout every morning, whether

it be cardio, barre, yoga etc. When CJ is done with school work

we will head to the gym, I belong to Planet Fitness, I will hit

the 30 minute workout area, I will then do my cardio,

I am not sure how long I will last on the arc trainers

as I have not done it in months, my goal is to get to

45 minutes. I will do core workouts after cardio, everyday!

At night weather permitting I am going to do at least a mile walk.

What to do for your last meal when you are doing IF?

You of course get hungry at night, I don’t want anything

heavy weighing on my stomach before bed and I want

something healthy so I have already chosen a tomato

sliced up with a bit of pepper and basil and 1 cheese stick.

There are days my plans may not workout accordingly

and I will have to get over that, my main goal is the gym

3-5 times a week. Once I lose my weight I will work on

maintaining a healthy weight and lifestyle.

If you happen to have any questions in regard to my

plans or goals or want help getting started with

your own please ask!

Fall Simmering Potpourri

I love the smell of fall, I even like fall itself.  I just don't like what follows... winter!  However I love walking in my home and smelling  the fall scents that are so warm and inviting. Making this simmering potpourri is extremely easy! What you'll need: Tangerine or orange peels Cloves Cinnamon sticks or ground cinnamon Vanilla extract Pumpkin pie spice Water Small crockpot, saucepan or tea kettle You can choose how much you want to put in  of what, there really is no magic amount. I normally put  in more of my favorite scents. If using a tea kettle  or a sauce pan keep in mind you will have to keep  adding water to it. If you use a crockpot you  will not have to keep adding water and you can keep  it on even when you're asleep. Some other ideas that you can add are: Apple juice (instead of water) Cranberries Nutmeg Anise (one of my favorites) Dried fruit Coffee beans Have you ever made a simmering potpourri pot?  What do you normal...
