DIY Sugar Scrub Cubes

I have never made a sugar scrub cube. I am still on the

fall body scent though and thought these would be great

for yourself and for gifts.

These are caffe mocha sugar scrub cubes....

What you are going to need:

1/2c shea butter

2T bacuri butter

1c brown sugar

1c grated unscented soap

2T coffee grounds

15 drops vanilla essential oil

10 drops cacao absolute

cheese grater

glass mixing bowl

mixing spoon

heat safe bowl

silicone mold

airtight glass container for storage

Create:

Grate your soap. Melt the soap in a small saucepan on low heat.

Next add the shea butter and the bacuri butter and mix well.

Allow the mixture to cool down slightly before

proceeding to the next step.

Once the mixture is not too hot, add the sugar and stir

the mixture quickly and thoroughly. Then add the essential

oils and mix again. Add the coffee grounds and stir well again.

Finally scoop the sugar scrub mixture into your silicone molds.

Place the silicone molds in the freezer for approx 30 minutes.

Pop the sugar cubes out carefully onto a clean cutting board.

Store your cubes in an airtight glass container.

This recipe should make approximately 20 sugar cubes

depending on the size of the mold you choose.

DIY Cheesecloth Ghosts

I absolutely love these! I love decorating for Halloween, I have to say it is my favorite holiday. I don't think you can have enough decorations up! So when I found this DIY project I just had to share!   DIY Cheesecloth Ghosts     You can find styrofoam mannequin heads at wig shots. They normally can stand on their necks but for this project you need to suspend them to let the cloth flow freely. Materials: Cheesecloth Styrofoam mannequin heads Sponge brush Watered-down glue or fabric stiffener Screw eyes Monofilament Removable adhesive hooks (like command brand or painters tape).     Steps: Apply a layer of cheesecloth to the head, then generously brush over head and face with glue. Use hands to smooth the cloth into the facial features. Don't brush down the neck, stop at chin level so the fabric is loose below that. Repeat until you have 4 layers each being 7 feet long of cheesecloth...
