I still love hot chocolate, actually I'm drinking some peppermint hot
chocolate as I type this blog up. Why not spike it??? This recipe makes
4 drinks in regular sized coffee cups.
What you'll need:
4oz Ghiradelli 60% Cacao bittersweet chocolate chips
1c half and half
1T amaretto
1tsp vanilla extract
1/2c whipped cream
Create:
In a saucepan over low heat, bring chocolate and half and half to a
simmer, whisking constantly. Simmer 1 minute or until
mixture thickens slightly.
Remove from heat, whisk in liqueur and vanilla. Pour into coffee cups.
Top each serving with 2T whipped cream, dust with Ghiradelli
unsweetened cocoa. Serve immediately.
