This week's main recipes are going to be all about appetizers
for New Years Eve/Day. These are a classic appetizer and
very easy to make. This recipe serves 5.
What you'll need:
2T mayo
2T ketchup
1T relish
4 large flour tortillas
1/2lb cracked pepper turkey, sliced thin
1c baby spinach
1/4lb provolone cheese
1/4c cherry tomatoes, chopped
4tsp olive oil, divided
1tsp salt, divided
black pepper
toothpicks
***You can omit anything you or your family doesn't like***
Create:
In a small bowl, combine mayo, ketchup and relish. Stir to combine.
Lay out each tortilla on a cutting board and spread about
1 heaping tablespoon of sauce onto each wrap, leaving the top 1"
each round empty.
Layer sliced turkey, spinach and cheese and chopped tomatoes on
each wrap. Drizzle each with about 1 tsp of olive oil, 1/4tsp salt and a pinch of black pepper.
Carefully roll each wrap beginning at the bottom and then slice
into 1/4' pinwheels. Secure the pinwheels with toothpicks. Keep in the fridge until ready to serve.
