Instant Pot Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta


All I can say for this one is yummy! Pasta, garlic

and chicken...my mouth is watering!

This recipe will serve 6.


What you'll need:

1 1/2lb chicken breast, cut into cubes

2T evoo

1 small onion, finely chopped

1lb pasta shells or bow ties

3c chicken broth

1T minced garlic

2T italian seasoning

1T garlic and herb seasoning

1tsp salt

2tsp paprika

1/4tsp pepper

1.5oz unsalted butter

1tsp oregano

1c heavy cream

5oz parmesan cheese

4oz cream cheese

1/2c fresh chopped basil


Create:

Turn on your instapot and put it to the saute function.

While it's heating up, cut your chicken into cubes. Combine all

seasoning except the basil and minced garlic. Stir chicken into the seasoning.


Add the chicken and minced garlic to instapot and cook evenly

until the chicken is slightly brown. Do not fully cook the chicken.


When you think the chicken is cooked 50% of the way, add

onions and brown evenly. Select the cancel button to reset

the cooking function. Pour in chicken broth.

Pour in pasta; DO NOT stir.


Try to cover pasta with chicken broth by pushing pasta down the pot.

Close the instant pot with lid and move valve to seal position.


Cook on manual high for 6 minutes. When the timer beeps quickly

release the valve pressure. Remove the lid and add in cream cheese,

butter, heavy cream, parmesan and basil; now you can stir.


Dinner is now ready!

Fall Simmering Potpourri

I love the smell of fall, I even like fall itself.  I just don't like what follows... winter!  However I love walking in my home and smelling  the fall scents that are so warm and inviting. Making this simmering potpourri is extremely easy! What you'll need: Tangerine or orange peels Cloves Cinnamon sticks or ground cinnamon Vanilla extract Pumpkin pie spice Water Small crockpot, saucepan or tea kettle You can choose how much you want to put in  of what, there really is no magic amount. I normally put  in more of my favorite scents. If using a tea kettle  or a sauce pan keep in mind you will have to keep  adding water to it. If you use a crockpot you  will not have to keep adding water and you can keep  it on even when you're asleep.
