Sparkling Pear & Ginger Cocktail

Last New Years Eve cocktail recipe. Pear and ginger will pair

nicely and be a refreshing bubbly drink to ring in the New Year with.

This recipe makes 1 cocktail.

What you will need:

Pear & Ginger syrup;

Slice a pear into small pieces, discarding the core. Peel and grate

1/2c fresh ginger. Add ginger and pear to a sauce pan with 1/2c of water.

masher to mash the pear as much as you can. Add 2T of sugar, stir and

allow to simmer for 5 minutes more. Place the pear mixture in a container

and place in the fridge for about 15 minutes. Use a cheesecloth to

squeeze the syrup out of the mixture. Place in the fridge until ready to use.

1/2oz St. Germain

1/2oz fresh lemon juice

3oz prosecco

Take a handful of ice to a cocktail shaker, mix in all ingredients and shake well.
