DIY Mickey Christmas Countdown Chalkboard

We are almost done with the week of Disney blog posts,

Everything has been Disney related except for health

tips and savings. I truly hope you have enjoyed reading the

posts and thinking about possibly making some things.

I have enjoyed finding the decorations and recipes for you.

Today is a Mickey Christmas countdown. I think it's pretty cute,

what do you think?

What you'll need:

2 bowls, 1 about 8-10" in diameter and a smaller about 4"

ribbon

foam board

pen

foam brush

craft knife

chalkboard paint

alphabet stickers

red and green card stock (optional)

glue gun

chalk

Create:

Trace the larger bowl onto the foam board. Now trace the

smaller bowl to create the ear shapes. Follow the traced

lines with your craft knife.

Cut carefully until you've completely removed the Mickey

shape from the foam board. Paint your Mickey with the

chalkboard paint and allow it to completely dry.

Once your Mickey is dry add the stickers on the bottom of

the chalkboard to say "Days 'Til Christmas". Season the

chalkboard by rubbing chalk all over and then wiping it away

with a soft cloth.

Glue your ribbon to the back of Mickey so you will be able to

hang him. You can cut holly and berry shapes from the card

stock if you would like to do so to spruce it up.

Now all you have to do is change the countdown every day.

I was always a huge Beauty & the Beast fan and while that will forever be my all time favorite the newer Disney movies are just awesome with the animation and the songs. I have a whole Disney playlist on my phone for Celeste and you guessed it Tangled is on there, that is one of her favorites as well. I found this DIY and knew I had to blog it that way when she is older we can make them together. Here's what you'll need: construction paper toilet paper rolls scissors glue crayons Create: First, put construction paper around the toilet paper roll. Measure the construction paper and cut it to fit to size. It doesn't have to be perfect. On some of the rolls you can decide to add extra decorations. Like the Rapunzel sun and swirls before you glue it on to the toilet paper roll. Remember this ...
