Super Sloppy Joes
This recipe is incredible
it's one of my famlies favorites! We never use a bun or a roll, we
either use a slice of bread, or without anything or something else I
thought of you could put it in a large piece of head lettuce.
Ingredients:
1 ¼lb ground turkey
1/4c brown sugar
2tsp to 1T McCormick brand
Montreal Seasoning
1 medium chopped onion
1 small chopped red bell
pepper
1T red wine vinegar
1T worcestershire sauce
2c tomato sauce
2T tomato paste
Directions:
Heat a large skillet over
medium high heat, add meat to the pan, spread the meat around the pan
and begin to break it up. Combine brown sugar and the steak
seasoning. Add sugar and spice mixture to the skillet and combine.
When the meat has browned add the onion and red peppers to the
skillet. Reduce the heat to medium and cook onion, peppers, red wine
vinegar and worcestershire sauce with meat for 5 minutes. Add tomato
sauce and paste to the pan, stir to combine. Reduce heat to simmer
and cook sloppy hoe mixture for 5 minutes longer. Serve on bun, over
bread, over lettuce or just in a bowl.
