DIY Massage & Bath Oil

There are times when I like to sit in a bath with baby oil.
Why use baby oil when you can create your own bath oil right from home that can benefit your body more?
Not to mention who doesn't like a good body massage?

Oils infused with fresh herbs and blossoms are
great for calming the heart and gladdening of emotions.
There are many different ways you can make these.
If you make them make sure you label what they are.

First you want to decide what oil base you want to use.
Find the type of glass jar you want to use and decide if you want
to use flowers or herbs.
Starting out it is suggested to use a 1:10 ratio of plant material to oil.

Pour your oil of choice into your glass jar, depending
on what type of jar you use you may need a funnel.

When it comes to the flowers or herbs you want to make sure they are dry, do not use fresh! Put your dried flowers or herbs into the jar, if need be use a wooden chopstick to poke it in.

Cover the jar with cheesecloth and place in the warm sun for a day or 2.
Next replace the cheesecloth with a proper lid, label & or tag.
It can store up to 1 month in fridge, if it
turns solid in the cold just warm it up before using.

Top oils to use:
Almond
Avocado
Coconut
Olive
Sunflower

Best herbs or flowers:
Basil
Chamomile
Lavender
Lily
Oregano
Rosemary
Rose
Sage
Thyme

Be creative & enjoy!

DIY Tangled Inspired Paper Lanterns

I am trying to pick some of the Disney movies a lot of kids love, for the week ahead. I love Tangled, I think the way they did it was great! I was always a huge Beauty & the Beast fan and while that will forever be my all time favorite the newer Disney movies are just awesome with the animation and the songs. I have a whole Disney playlist on my phone for Celeste and you guessed it Tangled is on there, that is one of her favorites as well. I found this DIY and knew I had to blog it that way when she is older we can make them together. Here's what you'll need: construction paper toilet paper rolls scissors glue crayons Create: First, put construction paper around the toilet paper roll. Measure the construction paper and cut it to fit to size. It doesn't have to be perfect. On some of the rolls you can decide to add extra decorations. Like the Rapunzel sun and swirls before you glue it on to the toilet paper roll. Remember this ...
