Cayenne has actually been used for years as a
natural pain relief. This recipe is easy to make and
should help relieve pain. Cayenne naturally works to
reduce inflammation and relax muscles.
This recipe makes 4oz
Ingredients:
1/2c evoo
2T cayenne powder
1/2oz beeswax
small tins or small mason jars
Instructions:
The first step is to infuse your oil with the cayenne pepper.
You can do this with a slow cooker. Take care not to let
the oil get too hot or fry the herbal material.
100 degrees is an ideal temp for the oil.
Place the mixture in a slow cooker, you want to maintain
100 degrees for 2-3 hours.
Pour your infused oil through a strainer lined with cheesecloth.
Gently heat the beeswax over low heat in a small saucepan
until it is melted. Stir in the infused oil and continue mixing
until wax and oil are thoroughly mixed.
Immediately pour the mixture into your tins or small jars.
Let cool and label your container.
When it's ready to be used, rub a small amount on
your affected area.
