Sesame Ginger Beef

I have another easy yet tasty asian meal for you today...the prep
time is 20 min and the cook time is only 20 min!
This recipe serves 4

What you'll need:
1lb skirt steak thinly sliced strips
kosher salt
black pepper
3T cornstarch
1tsp + 1T canola oil, divided
1lb trimmed green beans
3 minced cloves of garlic
3" piece of ginger grated
1/4c soy sauce
1T rice wine vinegar
2 chopped green onions
1T sesame seeds

Make the magic:
Place beef in a large mixing bowl and pat dry with
paper towels. Season with salt and pepper, toss with cornstarch
until well coated and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium high heat, drizzle 1tsp oil and
cook green beans for about 1 minute. Add 2T of water and
cover with a lid to steam for about a min more.
Transfer green beans to a plate and discard any excess water.

Return your skillet to high heat and add remaining oil.
When oil is almost smoking add the beef. Stir fry
until beef is almost cooked through, 2-3 min.
Reduce to medium heat and add garlic, ginger, soy sauce,
vinegar and sugar; stir quickly to coat the beef.
Add back the green beans then top with green
onions and sesame seeds.

So when I found this DIY project I just had to share!   DIY Cheesecloth Ghosts     You can find styrofoam mannequin heads at wig shots. Repeat until you have 4 layers each being 7 feet long of cheesecloth...

DIY Tangled Inspired Paper Lanterns

I am trying to pick some of the Disney movies a lot of kids love, for the week ahead. I love Tangled, I think the way they did it was great! I was always a huge Beauty & the Beast fan and while that will forever be my all time favorite the newer Disney movies are just awesome with the animation and the songs. I have a whole Disney playlist on my phone for Celeste and you guessed it Tangled is on there, that is one of her favorites as well. I found this DIY and knew I had to blog it that way when she is older we can make them together. Here's what you'll need: construction paper toilet paper rolls scissors glue crayons Create: First, put construction paper around the toilet paper roll. Measure the construction paper and cut it to fit to size. It doesn't have to be perfect. On some of the rolls you can decide to add extra decorations.
