Disney Lion King Grub Brownies

You can find these brownies at Disney World in Animal Kingdom, kids of course love them and so do adults, the best part is if you don't like gummy worms you can pick them off! These are very easy to make.

Ingredients:
1 box of brownie mix
1 stick of butter softened
1 1/4c powdered sugar
1/4c cocoa powder
1T heavy cream
1tsp pure vanilla extract
1 1/2c crushed Oreo
gummy worms for decorating

How to make:
Preheat oven to 350 degree using a 9”x13” pan line it with parchment paper and grease with cooking spray. Prepare your brownie mix according to the package.

Pour your batter into your pan and smooth out with a spatula. Bake until a toothpick comes out of the middle with crumbs, about 25 minutes. Let it cool completely.

Meanwhile make your frosting: using a large bowl and a hand mixer beat butter until light and fluffy. Add the powdered sugar and cocoa powder and beat until there are no lumps. Add heavy cream and vanilla and beat until frosting is whipped and light in color.

Frost cooled brownies with chocolate frosting, then cover entire top with your crushed Oreo. Stick gummy worms and bugs into Oreo to look like they are crawling out.

Chicken & Dumplings

This recipe is a Cracker Barrel Copycat. There is nothing more comforting (as far as comfort food goes) as chicken and dumplings, or at least that's the way I feel. Ready for the recipe? What you are going to need: 2c flour 1/2tsp baking powder 1 pinch of salt 2T butter 1c buttermilk 2 quarts chicken broth 3c cooked chicken Step 1: Start by boiling the chicken. Once the chicken is cooked, shred them into smaller pieces. Set aside and make the dumplings. Heat the 2 quarts of chicken broth In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking powder and salt. With a fork mix the butter along with the dry ingredients. Stir in the buttermilk with the dough until it forms like a ball. Knead the ball on a floured surface and use a rolling pin, with a pizza cutter cut the dumplings into squares (about 2” strips). Make sure you cut them about the same...
