These
are so cool! When I found them how could I not post these? I know I
will be making some!
Why
make them? They are easy & pretty. Safer than candles &
bright and long lasting.
Materials
you are going to need are:
Large
floating wicks, which you can find here.
Veggie
oil; 1T can last up to 2 hours
Mason
jars, water, along with decorative elements like flowers, pine cones
or even pebbles.
You
can infuse the oil with herbs, spices and even essential oils.
First
you want to gather your mason jars and fill with flowers or whatever
items you chose, then cover with water.
Next
pour some veggie oil on top till the oil forms a layer of about 1/4'
thick.
Lastly
comes your wicks. The wick I took you to on Amazon comes with discs
and small waxed wicks. Insert a piece of the waxed wicks half way
through the center hole on the disc and put it on top of the oil
layer.
Now
light and enjoy!
