This
is by far the unhealthiest recipe I could post, it is definitely not
for a diabetic. I made it once for a cheat meal and it is to die for
but you will crash about an hour after eating it. So I would strongly
suggest making it for a “breakfast dinner” other than an actual
breakfast!
Make
your batter the same way you would for usual french toast. In a
separate bowl mix together 1c of cinnamon sugar (as if you were
making cinnamon toast bread)
For
the icing:
2T
softened cream cheese
1/4c
powder sugar
1T
milk
Dip
your bread in your egg batter and deep fry your french toast, if you
don't have a deep fryer you can still do it in a skillet.
Once
it is cooked toss it in the bowl of cinnamon and sugar and coat both
sides, drizzle icing over the top.
The
combo for the cinnamon and sugar + the icing yields for 4 servings,
so if need to make more than that adjust your measurements.
