Churro French Toast; Oh boy watch out for this one!


This is by far the unhealthiest recipe I could post, it is definitely not for a diabetic. I made it once for a cheat meal and it is to die for but you will crash about an hour after eating it. So I would strongly suggest making it for a “breakfast dinner” other than an actual breakfast!

Make your batter the same way you would for usual french toast. In a separate bowl mix together 1c of cinnamon sugar (as if you were making cinnamon toast bread)

For the icing:
2T softened cream cheese
1/4c powder sugar
1T milk

Dip your bread in your egg batter and deep fry your french toast, if you don't have a deep fryer you can still do it in a skillet.

Once it is cooked toss it in the bowl of cinnamon and sugar and coat both sides, drizzle icing over the top.

The combo for the cinnamon and sugar + the icing yields for 4 servings, so if need to make more than that adjust your measurements.

Mama Mia Meatball Taquitos

Want something that is easy, sounds funny to kids and it should definitely be kid approved? Well here ya go, what kid doesn't love meatballs and taquitos? Recipe makes 1 dozen... Ingredients: 12 froze fully cooked Italian meatballs, thawed 2c shredded mozzarella cheese 1c ricotta cheese 1t Italian seasoning 12 8" flour tortillas cooking spray warm marinara sauce Directions: Preheat oven to 425, place meatballs in a food processor, pulse until finely chopped. Transfer to a large bowl, stir in cheeses and seasoning. Spread about 1/4c meatball mixture down center of each tortilla. Roll up tightly and place in a greased 15x10x1" baking pan, seam side down and spritz with cooking spray. Bake until golden brown, about 16-20 minutes and serve with the marinara sauce.

I absolutely love these! I love decorating for Halloween, I have to say it is my favorite holiday. I don't think you can have enough decorations up!
