DIY Cough Syrup




Right now, you have colds, allergies and covid-19 floating around all at one time! Store bought cough syrups has a lot of ingredients our bodies really don't need. I also just found out for the first time ever if you are on medication for depression or anxiety and you take over the counter cough medicine it can actually have a very bad effect on your body!

You can use this on anybody over the age of 12 months!

What you'll need:
1 1/2c organic raw honey
1/2c organic evoo
1-5 lemons juiced (the more the better because of their properties)
Mason Jar

Instructions:
Add honey, evoo and lemon juice to a small pot. Stir, heat over medium heat just until steaming, make sure you are stirring. Remove from heat and let cool. Place into a jar with a lid.

Take 1T as needed

This does help with allergies too!

  Okay, okay last day of fall sugar scrubs for now. This recipe makes about 1 1/2c What you need: 1 1/2c sugar 1/2c coconut oil 1tsp vanilla extract 4 drops vitamin e oil orange food gel yellow food gel small mason jars Create: Add the sugar, vanilla, vitamin e and coconut oil in a bowl and mix with a mixer. Divide the mixture evenly into 3 small bowls. Set aside one bowl (this will be for the white section of the candy corn). Chicken & Dumplings

This recipe is a Cracker Barrel Copycat. There is nothing more comforting (as far as comfort food goes) as chicken and dumplings, or at least that's the way I feel. Ready for the recipe? What you are going to need: 2c flour 1/2tsp baking powder 1 pinch of salt 2T butter 1c buttermilk 2 quarts chicken broth 3c cooked chicken Step 1: Start by boiling the chicken. Once the chicken is cooked, shred them into smaller pieces. Set aside and make the dumplings. Heat the 2 quarts of chicken broth In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
