I found out recently that one of my dogs has a reaction to gluten. So instead of buying store bought treats, I buy blueberries and freeze them as treats. There are also 2 healthy DIY treats you can make them, which I normally do to keep on hand to change it up a bit.
You will need one of these silicone mini brownie pans.
Pumpkin Treats:
1 can of Libby's Pumpkin (it has to be Libby's they are the only ones who do not use artificial sugar)
1 cup Peanut Butter (make sure real sugar)
Mix those 2 ingredients together, put into brownie pan and freeze, once they are frozen just put them in a zip lock bag.
Cheese Treats:
Get a block of cheese, any cheese will do really, make cheese cubes. Put a cube in each part of the brownie tray, pour water over them and freeze. Once they are completely frozen put them in a zip lock bag.
