is the month of Donate Life Awareness.....
A
lot of people think often of donating blood but how often do you
think of donating an organ? My mother in law donated her kidney to
her brother. Both of his kidneys were bad and he was on dialysis and
not doing good at all. Her donation saved his life!
You
don't have to be “gone” to be an organ donor, there are living
donors. I am not saying go give a organ to a stranger but if someone
in your family is facing needing an organ get tested and see if you
are a match. Make sure you have a will or on your drivers license
that you are an organ donor. There are so many people out in the
world that need an organ now!
One
organ donor can save up to 8 lives!!!!
